Classic elegance meets breathtaking drama in this timeless wedding celebration created for Mariel and Micah. Award winning event designer, Kimberly Seeherman Brown worked with the New York couple to create a visual concept that would blend the best elements of Manhattan luxury style with the coastal setting of the venue, Hotel Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica, California. Dripping phalaenopsis orchids and an abundance of exquisite white roses set the scene with focal point chuppah and grand table centerpieces. The table settings featured soft champagne colors reminiscent of sand and blue glass accents inspired by the ocean. Since the room was used for both ceremony and reception - the design team engineered a plan to repurpose the floral creations in different dramatic layouts to maximize the floral impact while creating unique settings for each part of the event. The space evolution was also enhanced through dramatic lightings scenes that made the room sparkle in new hues.
