For the launch of Disney Jr.'s 'Ariel, Manhattan’s The Battery was transformed into the underwater world of Atlantica to celebrate the show and bring mermaid magic to both new and old generations of fans. Objective was to drive tune in, earn media, raise excitement, build affinity for the show, and promote the sale of Ariel consumer toys. Multicultural marketing agency, Pop’N Creative, partnered with the Hudson & Nine team to design and build the New York activation. Caribbean culture was on full display, with themed dancers and live steel drums. Guest of all ages were seen enjoying Ariel’s Mer-ling Makeovers, Ursulas Bubble Apothecary, Flounders Underwater Treasure Hunt, the Atlantica Castle Play Area from Just Play and multiple fun photo opportunities.
